Visa has been a proud sponsor of the summer and winter Olympic Games for more than 22 years, having supported our first Olympic Games in 1986. We have also sponsored the Paralympic Games since 2002.

We have now supported twelve consecutive Olympiads: Calgary, Seoul, Albertville, Barcelona, Lillehammer, Atlanta, Nagano, Sydney, Salt Lake City, Athens, Torino and Beijing.

After the triumphant success of the Beijing 2008 Olympic and Paralympic Games we are looking forward to Vancouver 2010 and London 2012.

Naturally, our anticipation of London 2012 is particularly keen, since this represents the return of the Olympic and Paralympic Games to Europe.
